Quick Start Guide

Get SizeMind up and running on your Shopify store in under 5 minutes. No coding required.

💡 Before You Start

Make sure you have your product size data ready (measurements for each size). If you don't have this yet, check your supplier or manufacturer's size specifications.

Overview

Setting up SizeMind involves three simple steps:

  1. Create a size chart with your product measurements
  2. Connect products to the appropriate size chart
  3. Enable the widget in your Shopify theme

Step 1: Create Your First Size Chart

1

Open SizeMind in Shopify Admin

Go to your Shopify admin → Apps → SizeMind. You'll see the onboarding screen if this is your first time.

2

Click "Create Size Chart"

Give your chart a descriptive name (e.g., "Women's Tops", "Men's Jeans"). This helps you organize multiple charts later.

3

Configure Chart Settings

Choose your settings:

  • Measurement Unit: Centimeters (cm) or Inches (in)
  • Garment Type: Tops, Bottoms, Dresses, Shapewear, etc.
  • Measurement Type: Body measurements or Garment dimensions
4

Add Your Sizes

Enter measurements for each size. You can:

  • Manual entry: Type values directly into the table
  • Import CSV: Upload a spreadsheet with your sizes
  • Paste HTML: Copy a size table from your supplier's website
📝 Note: Measurement Ranges

For best results, enter measurement ranges (min-max) rather than single values. For example, for size M chest: min 92cm, max 98cm. This allows our algorithm to find the best fit when customers are between sizes.

Step 2: Connect Products to Your Chart

SizeMind needs to know which products should use which size chart. You can connect them using several methods:

Option A: By Product Type (Recommended)

If your products have consistent product types in Shopify (e.g., "T-Shirt", "Jeans"), this is the easiest method:

  1. Go to Mappings in SizeMind
  2. Click "Add Mapping"
  3. Select "Product Type" as match type
  4. Enter the product type (e.g., "T-Shirt")
  5. Choose your size chart

Option B: By Collection or Tag

For more flexibility, you can assign charts by collection or product tag. This is useful when product types aren't consistent.

Option C: By Specific Product

For unique products that need a dedicated chart, you can assign directly to a specific product (Professional plan).

💡 Pro Tip

You can also quickly assign products from within the Size Chart editor. Look for the "Quick Assign" section at the bottom of the chart page.

Step 3: Enable the Widget in Your Theme

1

Open Theme Editor

Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize. Or click "Open Theme Editor" in SizeMind.

2

Navigate to a Product Page

Use the page dropdown at the top to select "Products""Default product" (or your product template).

3

Add the SizeMind Block

Click "Add block" in the product information section. Look for "SizeMind Size Recommender" in the Apps section.

4

Configure Widget Language

Select your preferred language in the block settings:

  • English (EN)
  • Spanish (ES)
  • German (DE)
  • Serbian (SR)
  • Croatian (HR)
5

Save Your Changes

Click "Save" in the theme editor. Your widget is now live!

Test Your Setup

Before going live, test that everything works correctly:

  1. Visit one of your mapped products on your storefront
  2. You should see the "Find your size" widget
  3. Click it and enter some test measurements
  4. Verify you get a size recommendation
⚠️ Widget Not Showing?

If the widget doesn't appear:

  • Make sure the product has a matching mapping
  • Check that the widget is added to your product template (not just one product)
  • Verify the app block is enabled in theme settings
  • Try a hard refresh (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R)

You're All Set! 🎉
